What is a good cheap airline for plane tickets?

What is a good cheap airline for plane tickets?
My friend and i are hoping to make some money for these places (listed) ~London, England-1 month 15 days ~New York-20 days ~Las Angelas, California-2 months ~Paris, France-2 months ~Scottland-1 month- ~Tokyo, Japan-2 months 15 days- ~South Korea (Seoul)-2 months 15 days- I know it depends on what time of the year you go to some of these places, but whatever time is the cheapest, please not the winter time though even if it's the cheapest it doesn't sound very safe.... I live in Washington and i would use the seattle airport to go to all of these places by plane that stops at other airports on the way (just so it's cheaper) you see i'm not the best at buying airline tickets, i am a fan of Alaska airlines but i'm just hoping for a safe and cheap trip^^

Tip: Don't go on weekends, so try and get a flight in the week like a monday or thursday.
2 :
Go to CheapOAir.com. They have the most reasonable prices of any place I have found.

Check out http://salesshark.webs.com/ It is a site dedicated to finding sales for people there is a banner at the top of the page for cheap plane tickets the banner will take you directly to the site to order your tickets i recently bought two round trip tickets from there that were at least 100$ cheaper than any where else. Good luck and have fun on your trips!

Most airlines are around the same price, but buying them weekdays should help ALSO, get very late deals, if you book right at the last minute, the price will be very low. My friend once bought a ticket to Dublin, Ireland for just £4.50!

Alaska airlines would get you to LA but not overseas. Check out travel sites like Expedia, Orbitz and Travelocity. Give as much notice as possible because as flights fill up the price rises. If you wait you until the last minute are taking a chance on high price if the flight is almost full. You'd only get a break last minute if they weren't full, but that's pretty rare. I trust you have a passport because you won't be allowed to board international flight without it. Also if you can be flexible on your dates it may make a difference. Sometimes even just a few days before or after when you hope to travel will have better deals.
