Why is the US so worried about what North Korea and Iran are doing?
Both of them have former Soviet vehicles/weapons/supplies and their nuclear weapons are just radioactive barrels attached to small missiles. Sure, they want to take out two of our allies (South Korea and Israel) but do they really have the capability? I don't think so, which is why I don't think we should be burning money every year making sure that they stay protected. They're both fully self sufficient nations and neither of their enemies actually stand a chance. And please, don't tell me that China would get involved, they would know better than to start a massive war and lose all of their profits that they made.

I think you underestimate them...I wouldnt be surprised if Paksitan helped Iran get real nukes, and it China helped north korea get real nukes...

I believe the we should stay in Iraq and North Korea, but not at the same capacity as we are right now. I do not believe that Israel is self sufficient and I think that if we left Israel would be blown to pieces. Just because a country has a military does not mean it can compete with invaders. If Iraq ever tried anything big on Israel it would end in disaster. People say well what does the U.S. care if Iraq hurts Israel. We need Israel because they are one of our few allies in the Middle East. We need to have allies spread around to ensure Economic safety in those regions. As for North and South Korea it is the exact same concept. South Korea is pretty much our only ally in east Asia, and if North Korea were to go to war with South Korea and win, we would be in a load of trouble. However I believe South Korea could handle themselves against the North, but we need to be there for extra protection.
